My earliest memories of school are sitting in the library as a second or third grader colouring in
maps of the world. I was fascinated with the exotic names, the romantic locations and even the
seemingly empty spaces on the maps. Now much older, if not wiser, I've had the great good
fortune to spend a little bit of time exploring some of those spaces, camera bag well in tow,
trying to capture just an iota of the beauty my 8-year old self imagined.

But so many 'spaces' still remain...
